In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the  Department of Justice (DOJ) regulate antitrust and trade-regulations laws. From guaranteeing market monopolization doesn’t polarize the market, to regulating ‘no-poach’ antitrust agreements between employers, there are many regulations that govern this area of law. Illegal market trades, global competition law, international trade agreements, The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), are all governed by the US and international government agencies, to guarantee fair dealings internationally. The Committee of Foreign Investments in the United States is also in charge of the regulation of antitrust agreements and mergers and acquisition deals between US and international businesses. The CFIUS governs investments between two American companies, as well as US-based and international companies who contract in a purchase-sale agreement to determine fairness, and proper balance in negotiations between companies on the international level.
