Real Estate

The area of real estate law is highly litigated, and it is subject to many different types of law. State and federal law, tax law, lending laws, environmental laws, and possible links to Tribal-law, depending on location, are just a few of the different topics which one has to consider with real estate concerns. The National Law Review covers these, and other news, legislation, and litigation, as it relates to real estate law.

Visitors can learn about local zoning and ordinance codes which are in place, prior to building a new construction. Or, for those who want to purchase property, knowing the federal and state tax laws, condominium association, HOA fees and other HOA requirements, and other costs which are linked to the purchase of said property, are some of the different areas of coverage in residential real estate.  The legal experts who write for the National Law Review also cover issues related to commercial real estate, and are well-versed on various locales on local ordinances and regulations.

Visitors will read about foreclosures, mortgage lending, property taxes, government agencies, condo and homeowner associations, commercial and personal real estate transactions, arbitration, mediation, design professionals, and other areas which may affect a buy-sell agreement in a real estate transaction. Often times, the government gets involved with foreclosures, liens, title issues, or property disputes; the National Law Review also covers these topics for visitors to the site. With the new tax-law which took effect late in 2017, property owners should also familiarize themselves with property taxes, deductions, and federal and state implications. The National Law Review provides in depth coverage of these topics, at the personal and commercial-transaction level.

Additional topics covered include public-private partnerships (P3), entitlements, development rights, ordinances, variances, zoning regulations, permitting requirements, liens, and conveyances. Visitors to the National Law Review will find the latest coverage on real estate law, and will find coverage for personal property and commercial transactions online.
