U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt appointed Anne Idsal as Regional Administrator to EPA's Region 6 office on Monday, December 11, 2018. Most recently the chief clerk of the Texas General Land Office, Idsal has also served as General Counsel for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and as special adviser to Chairman Bryan Shaw.

EPA also recently welcomed Susan Bodine as the new Assistant Administrator of EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance. Bodine was nominated by President Trump in the spring and was confirmed by the Senate on December 7, 2017. Formerly chief counsel for the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Bodine served as Assistant Administrator for EPA's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response under the George W. Bush administration.

As of the time of this alert, EPA had yet to name regional administrators for Region 5 and Region 9.
