Webinar Series: Braving the New Worlds of Work - Drilling Down on the "How"

The pandemic threw companies and employees into chaos, and created enormous challenges for Human Resources departments. As the dust begins to settle, many challenges still remain from handling flexible and remote work arrangements, finding and retaining employees, to managing in this new work environment. 

For the fourth webinar in our series we are joined by Teri McClure, who served as General Counsel, Chief Human Resources, and Vice President Labor Relations and Communications for UPS’s more than 444,000 employees worldwide. Teri was also a member of the company's Management Committee, responsible for setting strategy, profit and operating plans for the company's worldwide operations and currently on the Board of Directors of  JetBlue, Lennar Corporation, GMS, Inc., Heart for Africa, the City of Refugee, and Chair of the Board for the Task Force for Global Health. 

In addition, we are joined by Kurt Fischer, an HR professional with close to 40 years of experience in human resources. Most recently, he served as a member of the executive team and Chief HR Officer for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation where he was responsible for overseeing the HR team and aligning services and processes necessary to accompany the strategies and tasks carried out by the organization. Kurt retired from Corning, Incorporated in 2007 as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources after a 31-year  He was also Vice President of HR and Communications for Quest Diagnostics.  He currently serves as the Chair, Chief HR Officer Board or i4cp, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Corning Federal Credit Union and as an advisor for Sera Prognostics in Salt Lake City.
