Professional Biography

Alison Gaske joined Gilbert LLP as an associate in 2018. Her practice focuses on representing policyholders in complex civil litigation and dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Gilbert as an associate, Alison was a law clerk for the Honorable Phyllis D. Thompson of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

Alison received her law degree from American University Washington College of Law. While in law school, Alison was an extern for the Honorable Amy Berman Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable Roger W. Titus of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She was also a Legal Rhetoric Dean’s Fellow and served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Administrative Law Review. Alison received her undergraduate degree from Hamilton College.

Alison also maintains an active pro bono practice.  Her representations include matters such as motions for compassionate release because of COVID-19 outbreaks, Social Security Administration appeals, and work with the ACLU of Louisiana’s Justice Lab.
