Andrew focuses his practice on corporate and securities law matters, public and private offerings of securities, private equity transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes negotiating and drafting deal documents, advising clients on domestic and cross-border issues associated with strategic initiatives, and performing due diligence. He has handled equity offerings in a broad array of industries, including technology, life sciences, real estate, defense, manufacturing, energy, and retail.

Prior to joining Mintz, Andrew served as an associate director of equities, legal & compliance in the New York office of a Canadian-based global investment bank. In that role, he provided regulatory guidance to the company’s capital markets business units, drafted and negotiated agreements and deal documents, and counseled clients on share offerings. He also represented various parties in public and private equity offerings, including underwriters, purchasers, placement agents, private equity sponsors, and issuers. Earlier, Andrew was an associate and assistant general counsel for a New York-based global financial services company. He was also an analyst in the legal compliance department and a summer associate at another international financial services company.

While in law school, Andrew served as an associate editor of the Syracuse Journal of Science and Technology Law. Before law school, he had a legal internship in the corporate department of a London-based international law firm.
