Colin Black advises clients on best practices to prepare for and prevent cybersecurity incidents of all types, including ransomware, complex malware and insider threat events, through risk management counseling, drafting policies and procedures and facilitation of training exercises. He assists clients on all aspects of data incidents, including coordination of remediation, forensic analysis, deploying crisis communications to stakeholders, and providing notice to affected individuals and to regulators as necessary. Colin’s practice includes advising on a variety of complex privacy frameworks, including those created under HIPAA/HITECH, FERPA, GLBA, BSA, GDPR and state privacy laws.
