Professional Biography

Danielle Catalan focuses on complex commercial litigation and all aspects of practice in service to the gaming industry.

Litigation

Danielle has experience litigating various types of disputes in state and federal courts including breach of contract claims, business tort claims, real estate claims, and construction disputes.

Gaming

Danielle’s practice also includes representing clients in the highly regulated gaming industry, as well as handling complex licensing matters, confidential investigations, and regulatory proceedings. In particular, she assists clients in the areas of casino, internet, racing, social gaming, and sports betting.

Prior to law school, Danielle worked as a litigation paralegal for a national law firm. During law school, Danielle served as a summer associate at Blank Rome as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald A. McHugh of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Danielle also served as a staff editor and then the managing editor of the Temple Law Review. She also participated in the Federal Judicial Clerkship Clinic with the Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter, and served as a legal research and writing teaching assistant.

Outside of Blank Rome, Danielle serves on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division as the State Civil Litigation Section Liaison.

Outside the Firm

Danielle enjoys attending stand-up comedy shows, aviation, 3D printing, and gardening.
