David Millard is Chair of the Corporate Department of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. He is a partner in the Indianapolis, Indiana office.
Mr. Millard counsels large-cap, middle-market and high-growth businesses, as well as venture capital and private equity funds. His practice includes providing services in connection with acquisitions and sales of businesses, joint ventures, collaborations, strategic alliances, rollups and industry consolidations, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, capital raising and business finance, strategic planning, business restructurings, fund formation, and commercial contracts. Mr. Millard represents high profile businesses across a wide array of industries including biopharma, biotech, medical device, life sciences, health care, retail, manufacturing, alternative and renewable energy, health care IT, cloud computing, and information technology.
Mr. Millard has helped many clients implement their growth strategies globally, including companies headquartered outside of the United States that do business in the U.S. and U.S. clients that do business around the world. This work has involved numerous acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and collaborations both in the U.S. and with partners in numerous countries.
