Donny Ariel is an associate in Cadwalader’s New York office, where his practice is focused on representing creditors in high-profile bankruptcies and financial restructurings. Prior to joining Cadwalader, Donny served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Carla E. Craig, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

Donny received his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz and his J.D., with honors, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a student advocate in the Consumer Rights Clinic. He is admitted to practice in New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

In addition, Donny is a Senior Master of chess and has passed the CFA Level I exam.
