Erin M. Pauley is an associate in the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg and is a member of the Litigation Department.

Ms. Pauley’s experience includes property insurance subrogation litigation, insurance defense, and various general commercial litigation matters. She also has experience handling personal injury cases from both the plaintiff and defense side.

She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was an editor of the Loyola University Chicago International Law Review, and the publicity chair of the Public Interest Law Society. While at Loyola, Ms. Pauley was a recipient of the Quinlan Scholarship, a merit based grant awarded to a student achieving excellence in public service. She also graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a B.A. in International Studies.

Active in the community, Ms. Pauley is a volunteer for Wills for Heroes, a program that provides essential legal documents to the nation’s first responders.

Ms. Pauley is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
