Habib Saeed is a UK-qualified employment lawyer based in the Dubai office.
He deals with a wide range of employment issues on a daily basis, dedicated to resolving client issues in the workplace. Habib acts for multinational and regional clients in the UAE on all aspects of labour law, employment and immigration issues both onshore and within the region’s free zones, including the Dubai International Financial Centre and Abu Dhabi Global Market.
Habib has experience in handling labour law claims across the UAE, drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, senior executive terminations, advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions and dealing with immigration matters for the recruitment and termination of employees. Habib specialises in data protection with a particular focus on employee data issues and advises on the impact of GDPR for HR, subject access requests, privacy notices and data protection policies.
Habib spent six months on secondment with the in-house legal team of one of the world’s largest investor-owned electric utility service providers, where a business manager stated, Habib “always acts in a quick yet very well-considered manner.
