Harrison Kuntz is a former National Labor Relations Board agent who possesses unique insight into the NLRB’s processes for investigating and prosecuting unfair labor practice charges and union representation elections. He now uses that experience to represent corporate clients before the NLRB in a wide variety of labor relations matters.
Harrison’s experience at the NLRB included work on the 2nd and 3rd largest elections in NLRB history, investigating allegations that different companies constituted “single” or “joint” employers, cases involving employee use of employers’ email systems, class action waivers in arbitration agreements, and independent contractor status, and resolving NLRB jurisdiction over Native American-owned entities. He also advocated for the use of statistical evidence to evaluate claims of anti-union discrimination and broadening perceptions of the role of technology in the labor relations field. Prior to joining the NLRB, Harrison assisted on global labor issues for the United Nations’ International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Now, Harrison assists companies with union contract negotiations, resolves grievances, advises on work stoppage issues, handles unfair labor practice charges, and guides employers through union organizing campaigns. He also counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, defending against discrimination and other workplace-related allegations to help clients achieve their business objectives.
