Jana focuses her practice on the defense of civil litigation and federal practice, particularly in areas of medical malpractice, employment and labor litigation and counseling, civil rights litigation/Section 1983/school Law, healthcare, and insurance coverage.

Jana represents healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, mental health professionals, nurses, long-term caregivers, nursing home caregivers, physician's assistants and administrators, in medical malpractice litigation. She also provides deposition assistance for treating healthcare professionals. As part of her healthcare practice, Jana represents medical groups, healthcare systems and hospitals on various business and legal matters including lien adjudication matters, medical bill collection, employment and administrative matters and compliance issues.
