Joanna Herman, a Partner with In-House Counsel Recruiting, helps build and strengthen in-house legal departments for organizations within Southern California and across the country. She partners with global, national and regional companies across a broad spectrum of industries, including the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, technology, manufacturing, consumer products, insurance, energy, software and manufacturing industries to place senior-level legal leaders. Experience

Before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa in early 2013, Joanna spent over a decade working at law firms in San Diego. She was an associate in the San Diego office of Morrison & Foerster from June 2004 until February 2013, focusing on product liability and commercial litigation, working with clients across various industries including pharmaceutical, medical device, toxic torts and aviation. She began the early part of her career at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper).
