Juanita B. Rodriguez concentrates her practice in business litigation, employment law/employee benefits and municipal liability. Prior to joining Johnson & Bell, Ms. Rodriguez served as a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Wayne R. Andersen of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Rodriguez’s professional background includes experience in financial analysis, government contracts, and corporate reorganization in Latin America.

Ms. Rodriguez was recently elected as a board member for Arden Shore Child and Family Services an organization aimed at improving the lives and wellbeing of families and abused or neglected children placed in foster care or group homes. Prior to this, Ms. Rodriguez served on the board of directors of the Latin United Community Housing Association where she helped bring to fruition the groundbreaking of Madres Unidas, a multi-million dollar affordable housing development for qualifying low-income single mothers.

Ms. Rodriguez is an active member of a number of professional associations including the Chicago Bar Association, Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, Hispanic National Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. She has currently been appointed to serve on the Bench & Bar Section Council for the Illinois State Bar Association’s 2009-10 fiscal year.
