Kristin splits her focus between IP prosecution and litigation, which gives her a broader perspective on the risk analyses that she offers to clients. She represents clients in the technology, telecommunications, government defense, entertainment and fashion industries. Prior to joining Katten, Kristin was a trademark associate in a boutique intellectual property law firm, where she focused on trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement matters. During law school, Kristin worked in a leading commercial litigation firm in her hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she primarily assisted with federal trademark and copyright litigation.
