Lamis Eli is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property prosecution and litigation, with a particular concentration on trademark, utility patents and copyright matters. Lamis also serves as outside general counsel for start-ups, small businesses and marketing groups. She works directly with clients to learn their business goals and provide creative, cost-effective solutions, counseling them through every step to provide suitable intellectual property strategies to protect their businesses.
In addition to her intellectual property practice, Lamis is an experienced litigator handling general liability defense matters through all stages of litigation. She also has served on national coordinating counsel teams, providing clients with extensive legal and risk analysis in high-risk jurisdictions throughout the country. In addition, Lamis has clinical research experience in genetics and biotechnology, which has served her well in understanding and developing complex alternative causation defenses throughout her legal career.
