Laurence Thompson is an Associate in the Washington D.C., Region, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers across industries in workplace law matters including preventative advice and counseling.

While attending law school, Mr. Thompson served as a Judicial extern for the Honorable Robert Rigsby for District of Columbia’s Superior Court. Mr. Thompson was an intern in the Office of Federal Operations at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where he focused on reviewing federal employees appeals regarding Title VII and Age Discrimination claims.  Mr. Thompson was a legal intern in the Office of the Chairman for the Congressional Black Caucus researching diversity and inclusion implications for proposed legislation. As a Student Honors Participant at the Securities’ and Exchange Commission, Mr. Thompson gained experienced with unconscious bias and workplace training for commission employees. Mr. Thompson worked as a summer law clerk in the Jackson Lewis Summer Clerk Program prior to joining the firm in 2019.
