Professional Biography

A pragmatic advisor and litigator, Lydia Pincsak helps employers prevent and address employment-related litigation, such as claims of employment discrimination or noncompliance with various federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Lydia advises employers and assists them in developing and implementing creative litigation strategies in matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and corresponding state laws, as well as in matters concerning restrictive covenants and the misappropriation of trade secrets. When litigation arises, she skillfully represents clients in state and federal courts and before arbitral tribunals.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Lydia served as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Steven I. Locke at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, having previously been a litigation associate in the Chicago office of an international law firm. Immediately after law school, Lydia completed a graduate fellowship with a national legal and advocacy organization for the Public Interest Law Initiative, and during law school, she was an intern for Judge John Robert Blakey at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
