Madonna Snowden is an associate in the Proskauer Labor Department. She has extensive experience advising and representing employers of varied sizes and industries, including Fortune 500 companies, healthcare providers, financial institutions, hotels, and nonprofits, on various employment matters. She has successfully defended employers against many claims, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, whistleblower retaliation, and more. In addition to her litigation practice, Madonna assists employers in developing policies and handbooks to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. She also conducts management and employee trainings for her clients and investigates employee workplace complaints.

Madonna graduated in the top 10% of her class from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She was the founder and president of the law school’s first student organization dedicated to labor and employment law. In addition to being awarded Book Awards for achieving the highest grades in Labor Law and Advanced Legal Research, she was the recipient of the Florida Bar Labor and Employment Law Section’s Outstanding Labor and Employment Law Student Award for her efforts related to the practice area.
