Marion Cavalier is a Paris-based associate and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice. Her practice encompasses patent, trademark and commercial litigation before French courts and arbitration tribunals.

Marion is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and advises global clients on compliance with privacy laws and regulations, including the GDPR. She also assists clients with all aspects of breach response, including DPA and individual notifications, coordination with IT and crisis management teams and litigation preparation.

Her experience spans a broad range of industries with particular emphasis on the technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences sectors.

Marion’s experience includes serving as a Legal Editor at the National Archives, the official archive and publisher for the government of the United Kingdom. In that capacity, she took part in a multidisciplinary, international research project called “Big Data for Law,” focusing on the relationship between technology and law on a global scale.
