Marisa’s extensive background in advocacy and legislative strategy provides her experience in advocating for, educating, informing, and advising rule makers and industry leaders.

Before she joined Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, Marisa was Senior Director of Government Relations at the National Retail Federation (NRF), where she was responsible for emerging public policy priorities and a broad range of advocacy efforts to support global economic growth, foster innovation, and promote technology in the retail industry. Prior to joining the NRF, she worked in the US House of Representatives as the Assistant Director of Floor Operations, where she served four years on the floor team that managed and implemented all aspects of legislative strategy and operation for Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.
