Mark G. Rackers

Professional Biography

Mr. Rackers is an associate in the Business Trial practice group in the firm's San Diego office.

Areas of Practice

Mr. Rackers practices general business and commercial litigation.  He has successfully represented clients in both state and federal court, involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, quiet title, unfair business practices and unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, civil harassment, unjust enrichment, Truth in Lending and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Acts, and other causes of action.  Since 2009, Mr. Rackers has dedicated much of his practice to handling significant and current issues in the areas of mortgage banking, lender liability and unfair competition.  He has defended lenders and servicers in over one hundred mortgage-related disputes, vigorously defending his clients through all stages of litigation.  Mr. Rackers has experience as lead trial counsel, obtaining complete victories in jury trials, and has successfully argued before the California Court of Appeal.  Mr. Rackers also has experience in arbitration and mediation and has acted as lead associate in several class action lawsuits, including wage and hour disputes.
