Matthew Oxman is LexShares’ Vice President of Business Development & Investments, responsible for developing industry partnerships and key relationships, as well as underwriting investment opportunities.  Mr. Oxman has been with LexShares since 2017.

Prior to joining LexShares, Mr. Oxman, an experienced attorney and investor, was a litigation associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP (and previously at Dewey Ballantine LLP), where he specialized in antitrust law, securities law and white-collar defense. While at Dewey, he successfully represented various multibillion-dollar corporations in complex matters, including arbitrations, class action litigations, and state, federal, and international government investigations.  He also represented numerous clients on a pro bono basis and received a Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Award in Recognition of Outstanding Pro Bono Service in 2011. 

Mr. Oxman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Masters in Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
