Ms. Covino focuses her practice on employment-based immigration.  She successfully represents national and international companies in obtaining authorization for employees to work temporarily and permanently in the United States.  

• Manages the PERM labor certification process on behalf of companies, having conducted recruitment in 29 states in a wide range of industries, filing more than 300 successful applications
• Represents Canadian and U.S. affiliated companies at the Detroit border in obtaining work authorization for Canadian employees to work in the U.S.
• Advises clients on Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance, providing training and internal audit assistance  
• Successfully obtained H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, O-1 and other non-immigrant statuses
• Provides internal training on immigration basics to help clients understand complex immigration concepts
