Monica H. Bullock is a principal in the Riverside, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practices employment litigation on behalf of management and provides advice and counsel on all facets of labor and employment law. She has represented employers in retail, health care, service, intellectual property, and insurance industries. Monica brings a wealth of relevant experience to her practice. In addition to defending hundreds of single plaintiff employment cases, she has handled large wage and hour class action and PAGA cases. Her practice also includes litigation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, Title VII, California Labor Codes, Federal Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, California Family Rights Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and Cal-OSHA.

Monica is a member of Jackson Lewis’ Wage and Hour team, Disability Leave and Health Management practice group, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration team. She has helped draft employment handbooks, company policies, and arbitration agreements for a variety of businesses. She values the long-term relationships she builds with clients, who know they can reach her with questions at any time and that they will receive prompt and thorough legal advice. Monica is cognizant of the unique challenges facing California employers and proactive in providing counsel to clients. She has exclusively practiced defense-side labor and employment law since graduating from law school in 2000.

Monica has been published in a number of legal journals and is known for her excellent communication skills. 
Monica participated in the publication of a national treatise covering topics related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and hiring practices and has authored articles on California law for JL. While attending law school, Monica served as an editor of the UCLA Law Review and president of the Women’s Law Union. She has published articles in the UCLA Law Review and the Journal of Legislation.
