Dr. Lokan is an Australian and New Zealand patent attorney who has a technical background in chemistry. He has represented clients in a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, mining, materials, semiconductors, food technology and biotechnology.

Dr. Lokan has a depth of experience across all aspects of Australian patent practice including patent drafting, patent prosecution, providing advice on the validity and infringement of patents and, in particular, conducting patent oppositions. Dr. Lokan has also been involved in a number of complex patent litigation matters before the Federal Court of Australia.
