Rasmus Berglund specializes in advising international companies on their global employee equity and benefits offerings. His practice includes the design, implementation and operation of a wide range of employee equity programs and executive compensation arrangements. Previous experience includes the design, legal review and launch of broad-based employee equity plans in over 50 countries.
Mr. Berglund also advises on all equity plan-related matters such as securities laws, tax, exchange controls, administration, trust and nominee arrangements as well as the handling and negotiation of global incentives in the context of corporate transactions.
Domestically, Mr. Berglund advises clients on all aspects of tax-qualified and non-qualified plans, executive compensation arrangements, corporate governance and compensation disclosure. Having spent time on secondment with one the largest UK banks, Mr. Berglund also advises on European remuneration regulation within the financial services sector.
