Russell Bucher is an associate in the Energy and Environmental Group. He joined Miller Canfield after working as an intern for the Honorable Laurie Michelson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. 

Russell's work developing real estate and working with municipalities and government to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental law is greatly enhanced by his fluency in multiple languages. Russell is able to work with international as well as national and local businesses and individuals to develop business in the State of Michigan. As he also possesses a degree in mathematics, he has a depth of understanding related to complex engineering issues that arise during the course of the real estate development process, which may complicate environmental compliance questions. Russell's varied experience and background give him a perspective that is unique and highly valuable to his clients.
