A former financial institution associate general counsel, Rusty’s practice includes the representation of financial institutions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases and sales, corporate governance, securities, regulatory compliance, and third party risk management. Rusty served as vice president and associate general counsel of Professional Bank as it expanded from a $1.7 billion asset institution to $2.7 billion asset institution. In addition to his Banking and Financial Services practice, Rusty maintains a commercial real estate practice involving the acquisition, repositioning, financing, development, and leasing of commercial, office, and mixed-use real estate projects. Prior to joining Professional Bank, Rusty represented real estate development companies in commercial real estate transactions involving commercial, office, and mixed-use real estate projects.
