Sonia E. Bennett is an associate in the Albany, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.

While attending law school, Sonia served as the Moot Court board associate to the Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling and Negotiations competitions. She also sat on the board of the Northeast Region of the National Black law Students Association, where she served as the Director of Alumni Relations. In addition, Sonia served as a legal intern for the New York State Department of Financial Services, where she acquired experience conducting RFPs and drafting escrow agreements.

Prior to law school, Sonia was an intern at the Harvard Legal Bureau, where she regularly interpreted for Spanish-speaking clients. 

Sonia is an active member of the Albany County Bar Association and sits on its Diversity Internship Program Board.
