Thomas Z. Hayward, Jr. is Of Counsel at K&L Gates, LLP in Chicago. He is widely recognized for his comprehensive experience in land use and general corporate matters. He is prominently involved in the American Bar Association and is Immediate Past President of American Law Institute-American Bar Association Continuing Professional Education and President of the American Bar Association Museum of Law.

Mr. Hayward received his B.A. degree from Northwestern University in 1962 (with honors), his J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1965, and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 1970. Mr. Hayward was honorary co-chair of the Critical Issues Summit.
