Ting focuses her practice on intellectual property transactional matters and data privacy. She helps clients protect and monetize their intellectual property assets. She helps prepare intellectual property licensing agreements, intellectual property provisions in employment and other agreements, master service agreements and other contracts. She also assists with compliance with various data privacy laws and response to data breach. She helps prepare and review privacy policies, data protection agreements, biometric data policy, etc. Ting is recognized by the IAPP as a certified information privacy professional for the U.S. (CIPP/US).
Ting previously worked in private equity as a member of the M&A team as well as in a consulting capacity for portfolio companies. She has also worked in corporate accounting and finance, and in a small startup setting. Ting has also worked internationally. Her business background and her experience with different industries help inform her practice. Having reviewed contracts as the client in her previous roles allows her to better understand and advocate for the client’s perspective.
