Victoria Ayeni

Professional Biography

Victoria Ayeni is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.

Victoria’s practice focuses on employment litigation, where she represents employers in a range of civil lawsuits in state and federal courts. She represents employers against claims including harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and defamation. Victoria also defends employers against individual wage and hour claims, PAGA representative actions, and class actions.

Prior to joining the firm, Victoria served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Nathanael Cousins in the Northern District of California. While in law school, she participated in the Hastings Appellate Project where she and a small team represented a pro bono client. Victoria briefed a Ninth Circuit pro bono appeal and delivered the oral argument before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to her legal career, Victoria worked as a paralegal doing criminal law and family law at a small-sized firm, and litigation for an in-house legal department at one of the world’s largest financial institutions. As an in-house litigation paralegal, she assisted the deputy general counsel with litigation and pre-litigation against the bank, government investigations, and human resources legal disputes. Victoria appeared on the bank’s behalf in small claims matters, and managed projects and vendor management for the legal department.
