Companies in the rapidly evolving and highly competitive media, entertainment and sports industries encounter unique legal issues. Adapting quickly and compliantly to changing consumer behavior with respect to media consumption is essential to staying ahead of marketplace trends.

Join our cross-practice industry team for a webinar series that will break down key insights and strategies to help you navigate the legal nuances associated with this dynamic space.

The first webinar will cover right of publicity and consumer protection issues and best practices for addressing them, specifically when it comes to leveraging influencers and celebrity endorsers.

Discussion topics will include:

  • The legal frameworks surrounding right of publicity, particularly as generative artificial intelligence technologies continue to advance
  • Best practices for complying with the Federal Trade Commission’s influencer guidelines and National Advertising Division regulations
  • Other crucial legal considerations when entering celebrity sponsorship and endorsement agreements

Minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) credit is pending in California, Illinois and New York. A Multi-Jurisdiction Certificate of Attendance will be made available to participants requesting MCLE credit in all other jurisdictions, depending upon that state’s rules. To be eligible to earn a CLE certificate, you must attend the entire program. Credit for partial attendance will not be provided.
