In 2018, Capgemini SE, a French multinational corporation providing consulting, professional, technology and outsourcing services announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Leidos Cyber, the “commercial cybersecurity arm” of the US company Leidos Holdings Inc. (NYSE:LDOS). (Capgemini SE Press Release, “Capgemini to acquire Leidos Cyber, the commercial cybersecurity division of Leidos,” June 7, 2018). “The completion of the acquisition [was] subject to anti-trust and Committee of Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) approvals.” (Id.).
