Mississippi Gaming Commission Meeting Minutes: August 16, 2018

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Jackson offices of the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins and Commissioners Jerry Griffith and Tom Gresham were in attendance. The following matters were considered:

LICENSING

  • Land Holdings I, LLC d/b/a Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort as a Gaming Operator

  • SBTech Malta Limited as a Manufacturer and Distributor

  • American Wagering, Inc. as a Manufacturer and Distributor

  • AGS, LLC as a Manufacturer and Distributor

FINDINGS OF SUITABILITY

The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons:

  • Robert H. Baldwin, Chief Customer Development Officer and Director, MGM Resorts International, Inc.

  • James J. Murren, Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, MGM Resorts International, Inc.

The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved the following:

    • Continuous Approval of Public Offerings and/or Private Placements;

    • Pledges of Equity Interests or Securities;

    • Imposition of Equity Restrictions including Negative Equity Pledges; and

    • Guarantee of Securities and Hypothecation of Assets.

  • Grand Casino of Biloxi, LLC d/b/a Harrah’s Gulf Coast, Robinson Property Group LLC d/b/a Horseshoe Casino and Hotel, Tunica Roadhouse LLC d/b/a Tunica Roadhouse Casino & Hotel, and Casino Computer Programming, Inc.

WORK PERMITS

The Commission approved the recommendation of the Executive Director to accept the hearing officer’s decision with regard to the work permit of Damien Tyler Montgomery.
