Commission Meeting Minutes

August 20 Meeting

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, August 20, at 9:00 a.m. by teleconference. Executive Director Allen Godfrey, Chairman Al Hopkins, and Commissioners Jerry Griffith and Tom Gresham all participated by phone. The following matters were considered:


The Commission approved the issuance of a license to the following:

  • Empire Technological Group Limited as a Manufacturer and Distributor


The Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons:

  • George Kliavkoff, Board Member, Roar Digital, LLC

  • Linyi Feng, Director, Empire Technological Group Limited

  • Daryn Kiely, Empire Technological Group Limited


The Commission approved the following:

Natchez Casino OpCo, LLC d/b/a Magnolia Bluffs Casino

  • Pledges of Equity Interests or Securities

  • Imposition of Equity Restrictions Including Negative Equity Pledges

Next Meeting

The next regular meeting of the Mississippi Gaming Commission will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at the Jackson offices of the Mississippi Gaming Commission, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The deadline for submission of agenda items for this meeting is August 31, 2020.
