August 18 Meeting

The Mississippi Gaming Commission held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at the Jackson office. Executive Director Jay McDaniel and Chairman Al Hopkins were in attendance and Commissioners Franc Lee and Tom Gresham both participated by phone. The following matters were considered:

LICENSING

The Commission approved the issuance of licenses to the following:

• The United States Playing Card Company, as a Manufacturer and Distributor 

• Genius Sports Media, Inc., as a Manufacturer and Distributor

• GAN Nevada, Inc., as a Manufacturer and Distributor 

FINDINGS OF SUITABILITY

The Commission approved findings of suitability for the following persons or entities:

• Gary Matthew Fitz – BetMGM, LLC

• Tricia Taylor Bouras – The United States Playing Card Company 

• Karen Elaine Flores – GAN Nevada, Inc.  

• David Edward Goldberg – GAN Nevada, Inc.  

• Donald Richard Ryan – GAN Nevada, Inc.  

• Dermot Stopford Smurfit – GAN Nevada, Inc.   

• Seamus Mary McGill – GAN Nevada, Inc.  

OTHER APPROVALS

  • Registration of GAN (UK) Limited as a Holding Company of GAN Nevada, Inc.
