Senate Legislative Activity

The Senate will meet on Monday, November 16, at 3:o0pm. Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 5:00pm. At 5:00pm, the Senate will enter Executive Session, with 30 minutes of debate equally divided. This debate will be followed by a roll call vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #141, LaShann Moutique DeArcy Hall, of New York, to be US District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

House Legislative Activity

On Monday, November 16, the House will meet at 2:00pm for legislative business, with votes postponed until 6:30pm. The following legislation will be considered under suspension of the rules:

1. H.R. 308 – Keep the Promise Act;

2. H.R. 1694 – Fairness to Veterans for Infrastructure Investment Act of 2015;

3. H.R. 3114 – To provide funds to the Army Corps of Engineers to hire veterans and members of the Armed Forces to assist the Corps with curation and historic preservation activities, and for other purposes;

4. H.R. 1073 – Critical Infrastructure Protection Act, as amended;

5. H.R. 3144 – Partners for Aviation Security Act, as amended;

6. H.R. 1338 – Dignified Interment of Our Veterans Act of 2015;

7. H.R. 1384 – Honor America’s Guard-Reserve Retirees Act;

8. S. 599– Improving Access to Emergency Psychiatric Care Act, as amended;

9. S. 799 – Protecting Our Infants Act of 2015;

10. H.R. 2583 – Federal Communications Commission Process Reform Act of 2015, as amended;

11. H.R. 1317 – To amend the Commodity Exchange Act and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to specify how clearing requirements apply to certain affiliate transactions, and for other purposes;

12. H.R. 3032 – Securities and Exchange Commission Reporting Modernization Act;

13. S. 2036 – Equity in Government Compensation Act of 2015;

14. H.R. 1478 – Policyholder Protection Act of 2015; and

15. Concur in the Senate Amendment to H.R. 208 – RISE After Disaster Act of 2015

The House may also consider:

1. Motion to Concur in the Senate Amendment to H.R. 2262 – SPACE Act of 2015; and

2. Short-Term Extension to the Highway Trust Fund

On Tuesday, November 17, the House will meet at 10:00am for morning hour and 12:00pm for legislative business. The House will consider H.R. 511 – Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act of 2015 (Subject to a Rule). The House may also consider a Motion to Go to Conference on ESEA Reauthorization Legislation.

On Wednesday, November 18, the House will meet at 10:00am for morning hour and 12:00pm for legislative business. On Thursday, November 19, the House will meet at 9:00am for legislative business, with last votes expected no later than 3:00pm. The House will consider:

1. H.R. 1737 – Reforming CFPB Indirect Auto Financing Guidance Act (Subject to a Rule);

2. H.R. 1210 – Portfolio Lending and Mortgage Access Act, Rules Committee Print (Subject to a Rule); and

3. H.R. 3189 – FORM Act of 2015, Rules Committee Print (Subject to a Rule)

On Friday, November 20, no votes are expected in the House.
