West Virginia Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Mandates Electronic Reporting of Tier II Reports
WV Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (WV DHSEM) is requiring all Tier II reports be submitted electronically begin with the 2014 reporting year information (due March 1, 2015).
Reports must be generated using the Tier2Submit 2014 software available here. Versions of the software are available for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
The electronic report can be either email or submitted on a CD/diskette. The WV DHSEM website has written instructions for submitting either type of electronic submissions: email or CD/diskette. It should be noted that if the Tier2Submit file is larger than 10 MB the electronic file can not be emailed to the agency and must be submitted on CD/diskette.
The Tier II website also has additional information that will aide in the Tier II preparation, i.e. Finding NAICS code, list of Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS), changes that took place with the 2013 reporting year. A link to the U.S. EPA paper Tier II form is still available on the WV DHSEM website. This form should only be used for gathering information to complete the electronic report.
