She specifically studied the Northern Ireland and Ireland border and its result following Brexit. She is published in Legal Aspects of Brexit: Implications of the United Kingdom’s Decision to Withdraw from the European Union.

In Alexis’ third year of law school, she was a member of the Law Students in Court Clinic, where she represented low-income individuals who faced evictions. Due to her exemplary advocacy, Alexis was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award.
