Dan is a Stamford, Connecticut based associate in the Cross-Border Practice Group, a team of attorneys based in five countries dealing with employment and mobility issues involving two or more countries. Dan is a native Spanish speaker and his practice focuses on Latin America, but also supports clients in the EU, and Spain in particular.

Dan advises clients on the negotiation and preparation of employment agreements, most recently in Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. Additionally, he counsels multi-national corporations on the preparation and compliance of handbooks and supplements for use in Latin America, most recently in Peru, Chile and Ecuador. Additionally, Dan has advised clients on the employment aspects of corporate setup and dissolution, most recently in Peru and Ecuador. Dan has also counseled clients with operations in the Dominican Republic and Panama regarding employment litigation.

In addition to his work in Latin America, Dan has advised on corporate transactions in Europe (Ireland, Italy, UK), with special focus on TUPE rules, benefits analysis, contract analysis, and retention bonus structures, supporting clients through M&A in Europe and South America. Finally, Dan has assisted on international investigations in Africa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), and Latin America (Mexico and Ecuador). Dan is frequently called upon to support investigation work when creative research techniques become necessary.
