Deva is a Member in the Denver office where he maintains a diverse litigation practice, focusing on the defense of claims involving health care professionals, catastrophic injury and death, civil rights, energy, and general litigation.  In addition to litigation, Deva enjoys providing advice and counseling to health care providers and other businesses to attempt to minimize their risk of litigation.  Deva has extensive experience in e-discovery matters and other document intensive cases. He regularly defends police officers, government agencies, and municipalities in claims alleging civil rights violations and general negligence. He has defended attorneys in legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty claims.  He appears regularly in State and Federal trial and appellate courts in multiple jurisdictions. Deva also serves as the head of the firm’s Litigation and Labor Associate Training Committee.  When he is not at the office, he loves to ski, hike, run, bike, and enjoy the outdoors with his family. He is a frequent visitor to the mountains of Colorado and Utah.
