Josh Gaul is a partner in the firm’s Seattle office and is a member of the corporate practice group. He focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, commercial contracts, divestitures, and joint ventures. In addition, he regularly advises clients on general corporate, business formation, corporate governance, and compliance matters. Josh has worked with domestic and international clients across a variety of industries, including energy, technology, aerospace and defense, transportation and logistics, manufacturing and distribution, and sports and entertainment.
Before joining K&L Gates, Josh served in the United States Navy, where, after completing nuclear power training, he was a watch and division officer on board the submarines USS Phoenix (SSN-702) and USS Norfolk (SSN-714). He also served as an instructor and associate professor of naval science at the University of Notre Dame.
