Marilyn Gabriela Robb

Marilyn Robb, an associate at Katz, Marshall & Banks, LLP, joined the firm as a Law Clerk in September 2019.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Robb clerked for the Honorable Duane Benton on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, in her hometown Kansas City, Missouri.

Ms. Robb received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2018, where she served as a Class Marshal and received the Dean’s Award for Community Leadership. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Law & Policy Review, the official legal publication of the American Constitution Society. Her trial advocacy team won fifth place at the American Association for Justice National Tournament, and Ms. Robb won the individual award for Best Advocate in the Northeast region. As a student attorney with Harvard Law School’s Criminal Justice Institute, Ms. Robb represented clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges in Boston criminal courts from arraignment to dismissal.

During law school, Ms. Robb worked for the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice under President Obama, the ACLU Voting Rights Project, and Arnold & Porter LLP.

Prior to law school, Ms. Robb taught sixth grade math in New Orleans through Teach for America, where she founded and coached the middle school debate team. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and American Studies from Columbia University.

Ms. Robb is a member of the New York and District of Columbia bars.
