He has defended claims of unlawful discrimination, wage and hour violations, wrongful discharge, unfair labor practices and unemployment compensation. He has experience litigating Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA), New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD) and Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA) claims.
Matthew drafts summary judgment papers, motions to dismiss, motions to compel, discovery requests, discovery responses and position statement to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and state agencies. He has extensive client counseling experience on employment and wage and hour issues, and has conducted both privileged and non-privileged investigations into alleged discriminatory conduct.
