Max Billek focuses his practice on a wide variety of professional malpractice actions as well as the defense of employers in employment liability matters. In the area of executive liability insurance, Max defends upper management of businesses in a range of industries, specifically focusing on directors and officers (D&O) liability, employment practices liability and fiduciary liability. He has broad experience in handling complex casualty claims, construction and workplace accidents, automobile accidents and general liability claims. Max has served as an arbitrator, mediator and special discovery master in complex matters and has been appointed by courts as a hearing commissioner. Max regularly presents to insurance clients on legal malpractice, identifying good and bad risks, and trends in legal claims. He has lectured to other lawyers on behalf of the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
