Will Sugden is an associate in Cadwalader’s Financial Restructuring Group and Private Credit Group based in London. Will acts on restructuring and insolvency matters, representing debtors, financial sponsors and creditors including banks, institutional investors and funds. Will also has experience acting on a wide range of financing transactions.  Will’s experience includes an 8 month secondment to the direct lending and credit opportunities teams of a leading credit fund. 

Prior to joining Cadwalader, Will was a senior associate at a global law firm in London, and also practised as a senior associate at a global law firm in Australia.

Will holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, Australia. He is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland, Australia.
